I passed!

Just to say I got the letter yesterday telling me have passed and can now join the register of Chartered Members.

A massive thanks to everyone who has helped me, especially my mentor Chris, my line manager Helen, fellow extraordinary route explorer Jess and my bloke, Peter, who have all been extremely helpful and supportive.

Hi Katherine

Well done!

I'm currently in the final stages of putting my portfolio together and although I only came across your blog a couple of weeks ago, have found it very useful.

Thanks very much everyone for your congratulatory comments - just need to actually get around to adding myself to the register now!

Congratulations! Well done. I'm looking forward to that - still far away - day. So far, I haven't even heard if they received my registration...

Hi Lonely,

The paperwork can take a while. It took about 6 weeks for CILIP HQ to email me a receipt for my portfolio when I finally submitted.

You can still start to collect evidence though, you don't need to wait until you have a confirmed registration.

Do you have a mentor sorted out yet?

Hi Katharine

Good to know! I was beginning to worry that they've decided not to accept my qualifications after all...

Yes, I've found a mentor who's willing to give it a try and am going to meet him in July when I'm in London. Even though most can be done by e-mail, I think it's good to at least meet up once.
